The folks at Laureate may not be too happy with their deal with Bill Clinton Blog: For-profit Laureate University is discovering the downside of Clinton cronyism
The same reasons why they always say "service revolvers" about police guns, when revolvers were phased out of front-line police work years ago; ignorance, laziness, and stubbornness.
Hmmm... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see how their supposed problems are connected to Clinton. Their issues are with governance; Bill was a celebrity figurehead. The strongest connection the article makes is speculation that it had to do with payments to unnamed public figures whose role is somehow "similar" to Clinton's but more nefarious. I feel that this is not the best piece of journalism out there.
The Clinton's poison everything they get involved with. The heads of Laureate Education should hire food testers and grow eyes in the backs of their heads, because people who cross the Clinton's have an odd habit of dying young and very unexpectedly.
...yet actual enemies of Clintons (e.g. Gingrich or Ken Starr) are alive and well. Are you sure you are making sense now?
When you see journalists are typically wrong on topics where you know better, remember that they're also typically wrong on topics where you do not know better.
Blue Steel - Jamie Lee Curtis. Great image of the revolver that wouldn't have worked with a pistol. And she was able to blow a bad guy through a window with that gun.
I also think it is a bit of a stretch to say that Obama tried to end for-profit universities in the US this last year. Corinthian's fall as a blow. But Laureate isn't peddling overpriced Pharm Tech certificates like Corinthian was (and is under their new name). maybe Laureate should take a crack at offering journalism programs. If they taught basic grammar and fact checking their graduates would be miles above the competition.
Sure, but I've studied a lot of different things. The major areas I can think of where I have a big knowledge gap are physics, computer science, agriculture, and engineering.
