Tomorrow's headline: "Trump Uses Improper Motion While Brushing His Teeth"

The day after that: "Trump Leaves Shoes on While Entering Friend's Home, CDC Declines Comment"

Then: "EXCLUSIVE! Leaked Photos Show Trump Leaving Toilet Seat Up"

USA TODAY exclusive: Hundreds allege Donald Trump doesn’t pay his bills

USA TODAY exclusive: Hundreds allege Donald Trump doesn

"Donald Trump casts himself as a protector of workers and jobs, but a USA TODAY NETWORK investigation found hundreds of people – carpenters, dishwashers, painters, even his own lawyers – who say he didn’t pay them for their work".

Something to keep in mind when voting this time around.

    More:

"Trump’s companies have also been cited for 24 violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act since 2005 for failing to pay overtime or minimum wage, according to U.S. Department of Labor data. That includes 21 citations against the defunct Trump Plaza in Atlantic City and three against the also out-of-business Trump Mortgage LLC in New York. Both cases were resolved by the companies agreeing to pay back wages."

"The actions in total paint a portrait of Trump’s sprawling organization frequently failing to pay small businesses and individuals, then sometimes tying them up in court and other negotiations for years. In some cases, the Trump teams financially overpower and outlast much smaller opponents, draining their resources. Some just give up the fight, or settle for less; some have ended up in bankruptcy or out of business altogether."

Yeah, I don't think Trump will have the average working man's interests at heart.

    As opposed to... whom?

Gary johnson silly!!!!!!!!!!!!! he he! I think the Dems have areas like workers rights covered better then the Republican alternative. Workers have already seen a minimum wage increase, for example. In contrast, Trump thinks wages are too high. My choice is clear.

I honestly think some of Trump's antics are just to draw attention to himself. And you know what? It's totally working.

    No kidding;
Number of threads started about Gary Johnson? None.
Number of threads started about Trump? Infinity.

And that is a good thing because it shows just how unstable the guy is. Let's not forgot he is running to be be Commander in Chief, and his actions should be looked at very carefully. I think he does some of this stuff on purpose, but I also personally think he is just bat shit crazy. :) That's just me though. I don't think he know what he is going to do within the space of five minutes. It must be nerve wracking to be his handler.

I'm not a Trump fan but I have a hard time taking some of these articles seriously.

He doesn't pay dishwashers? I doubt that's a responsibility he has personal oversight of.

Contractors? Well, maybe that's a serious issue. Or maybe contractors and subcontractors aren't meeting contractually agreed upon deadlines and are pissed that he is penalizing them. Maybe they had to redo work they didn't do well the first time. I also doubt he hires carpenters directly. Maybe they were subcontractors who got stiffed by their GC. Maybe Trump is a crook. But I'm not really going to put all of my trust in the words of a contractor, lawyer or disgruntled former employee.

I'm sure if I ran for office there would be people creeping out of the woodwork giving my opponent sound bites. I'm sure that woman I mentioned in another thread, who complained bitterly about another woman wearing a hijab, would be great on camera crying as she reframed the situation as me, and others, saying "Muslims just have more rights than you" or other such nonsense. I didn't like it when they pulled that crap with John Kerry and I don't much like it when they do it to Donald Trump. It isn't a partisan issue. It's an issue of civility.

You know what Neuhaus? I think you bring up some valid points. You have given me something to ponder. :) Kerry got fucked under royally, and you are right, it wasn't nice.

There's a reason why Trump could self-finance the primary, and not really spend that much, relative to the norm. The state-run media is so obsessed with trying to discredit him, that everything he says or does lands in the headlines, and the media dolts are too stupid & brainwashed to realize that much of what Donald Trump says is exactly what a LOT of people think. The thing is, they're too intimidated by the Thought Police, who will do everything possible to ruin their lives if they dare to say anything they deem politically incorrect, so Trump has become their mouthpiece. Hence, his wild popularity.

BTW Abner, while you're concerned about what Trump thinks of a hotel HVAC system, your party conspired to steal the primary election from The Queen's opponent, spit in the faces of 12 million voters, and disparaged his religion for good measure.

I think that's a bit more important than hot air, don't you?

I made a thread about Gary Johnson last week, or are you just referring to Abner? I think there was another Gary Johnson thread within the past month or so.

@Abner I know very little of Johnson, but if you're sure that he's a politician who genuinely cares about my well-being, then you might have found the very last truffula seed.

I was referring to Abner. He thinks the guy you made a thread about is a joke.

I never said he was a joke. He actually has some good qualities. The way the structure is set up, there is no way he has a chance though. Bad joke, but i don't think he is a joke himself. Don't put words in my mouth.

Then why do Republicans keep endorsing him? The latest was Marvin Bush, brother and son of the former presidents.

OK, my apologies. Read your post incorrectly. Probably not the first time and certainly won't be the last. I'm kind of half-witted.
