She must have googled "Top 10 Perspective First Lady Speeches" Number 7 will astound you! Doctors hate number 3!

I thought it sounded odd when she was recounting the struggles of being a young black woman at Princeton....

Lying about earning a degree is serious in my opinion. On the other hand, the advice given by most good parents is almost the same regardless of cultures. Here are a few:
    work hard
    respect elders
    respect teachers/police officers
    do not lie
    get an education
    do not steal
    do not envy
    save your money
    do not use drugs
    look out for the siblings
The phrasing look very similar to Michele and that is also an issue but I do not thing the phrasing is all that original. It is common in homes across the world.

Chris Christie says that 93% of the speech was not plagiarized. That's still an A at Trump University.

I pride myself on sometimes seeing angles that things will take and was curious as to how this happened. Just read the statement from the speech writer on CNN. I did not see that coming. Brilliant.

It's no longer on the front page and they (CNN) is editing it a bit funny. Here's the relevant part I was talking about.

"In working with Melania Trump on her recent First Lady speech, we discussed many people who inspired her and messages she wanted to share with the American people. A person she has always liked is Michelle Obama. Over the phone, she read me some passages from Mrs. Obama's speech as examples. I wrote them down and later included some of the phrasing in the draft that ultimately became the final speech. I did not check Mrs. Obama's speeches. This was my mistake, and I feel terrible for the chaise I have caused Melania and the Trumps, as well as to Mrs. Obama. No harm was meant."

I mean come on....even Abner has to admit that is an impressive move.

It is impressive, and if true just sound like human error, and I could see how it could have happened. I think the Trump campaign makes a big mistake by not feeling the need to explain things like it was done in the quote above. Instead they just flatly deny. If they would have explained things like this right off the bat, it would not leave such a bad impression on people. This is what makes Trump so dangerous in my opinion. He is NEVER wrong, and therefore needs no forgiveness since he apparently thinks he can walk on water. The other thing is that he has mental issues, the central one being a condition known as "pathological lying". I mean, the guy lies about lying (on average of up to every five minutes in transcripts). And of course, he is very thin skinned (spent 500 words defending the size of his chorizo/tiny hands), not a good attribute for someone who may be Commander in Chief. Some of his rants seems to be getting worse as time goes on. I will give Manafort credit though, he has been keeping Trump a lot more quite than Lowendsky did.

The issue isn't whether she graduated from college. It is whether she publicly lied about graduating from college and whether she delivered a plagiarized speech.

I won't say that's more or less important than another candidate being investigated. People are actually capable of caring about multiple issues at the same time.

Also, if someone points out that Melania has done something wrong pointing out that Hillary has also done something wrong is a pretty weak defense of Melania. I'm not trying to say that she's Public Enemy #1 or anything but it's plainly true that she has lied about this thing. This is true regardless of anything that might be true of Hillary. That's all. I am clearly on the record for not really trusting Hillary but I have to point out that none of my suspicions and none of the investigations have resulted in any charges and that actually means something considering the depth of scrutiny she has undergone.

I am clearly on the record as trusting Hillary a lot more than a pathological liar who lies on average of every five minutes. I think the RNC has tried to create a cartoon character of Hillary and have chased her for over 25 years. Everything they throw at the cartoon seems to come back inconclusive, or no evidence in other words. Countless hours of investigation, counltess millions in investigatory committess, countless hours of depos, and still, nothing when all is done and said, no charges.

So what? Melania Trump isn't running for the office of POTUS.

If Barack Obama wasn't President, Hillary would be indicted and maybe even already serving time. It just shows, once again, the breathtaking hypocrisy and double-standards of the Democrats and the state-run media.

Neuhaus is right that criticizing Democrats without mentioning Republicans is awfully lopsided, e.g., Scooter Libby and Karl Rove, among many others.

It's an interesting theory. There's no proof though, just your opinion. I could just as easily say that if enough people agreed with you then the public outcry would force charges to be filed. If there was sufficient evidence then the Republican dominated Congress would find a way to knock her out of the race, if not put her in jail. For better or worse you are in the minority and the evidence is insufficient.
