This is a good deed for sure, but read more about him before you decide you like him. His brand of conservatism is a bit controversial even in Virginia.

Didn't Cory Booker save someone too?

A-Rod saved someone's life a few years ago, but that didn't help his popularity even a bit.

Yes, quite a few times. He also personally responds to emergencies within his community.

CB seems like a decent guy, for a politician. I first heard of him when he was bitch slapped on national TV after he supported Bain Capital. Can't let them get to far off the reservation, so to speak.

Now it seems he's not quite as hard-lined on the whole 2A thing. We'll see how quickly the leash of the DNC can snap him back in line on that one. Of course, they probably see it for the political move that it is and if it gets them more power they may look the other way.

Politicians do positive things all the time, but that is not what we want them to do nor do we really care.

Hate warms the soul, warranted or not.

Cuccinelli has pretty much helped to split the Republican party in Virginia. There was the one side which loved Cuccinelli (pretty much the Tea Partiers) and the other side which liked our two-term Lt. Governor Bill Bolling. In choosing a candidate for governor in 2013, party leaders opted to go with a convention nomination knowing full well that Cuccinelli would get it, while a primary probably would've resulted in Bolling getting it. The thing is, Bolling stepped aside from running for governor in 2009 so the then Lt. Governor, and current governor, Bob McDonnell, could run. In my opinion, they pretty much handed the election over to the democratic candidate, who I think is Terry McCauliff.
