Any knowledge of tax rates when this speech was made? Any knowledge of what happened to tax rates after this speech? Any context on this video? Of course not.

Both sides do this kid of lazy assed dumbed down stuff. By posting out of context "gotcha" videos they are pandering to the stupid and lazy among us. Who buys into this crap anymore? Abner?

The video Abner linked actually does succinctly start to make a few useful points. Debates about the incidence of taxation between wealthy, and middle and working class people in America aren't new. They aren't necessarily just about Obama, the progressive left, whomever, ganging up on the producers! in the form of class warfare!

I don't see why Abner is getting all this grief for posting an interesting short little contrast in the form of a cross-cut video instead of a lengthy thought-out position paper from a think tank or something. Those are out there too, on the same point!

Most readers - most of us - are much less likely to have read the whole thing as to have spent a few minutes with this, though. And that's okay. Isn't it?

If I wish to post something with no comments, that is my business. I don't need to clear things with you or the other two stooges before posting. I don't post to be popular, nor am I looking for a seal of aproval from someone. I work full time in addition to doing labor work, contract work, and comunity work. Yeah, that's right, I am an activist. I don't post at work because I feel it is unethical to use work time to post on forums or to be on the internet. So, if I have a spare two minutes, many times I will post a video and go do what I have to do to make a living.
