   Most of us here can`t be bothered with our own politics let alone another country`s. So just why is there so much media coverage ? I`m interested in your opinions as to why.

   Perhaps simply because it gives them something to go on about all day? Those news channels have to fill twenty-four hours of programming each and every day, and it can't be easy. Even using political filler it's repetitious, imagine if they didn't even have that!
