Liberty University is strongly encouraging its students and faculty to vote.

More power to them - anything to get young people off their butts and into the ballot booth. I disagree with the Falwell family on most things, but I applaud this move.

I gotta say, I'm proud of 'em. It's amazing how utterly clueless most people under the age of 30 are about politics and how this country works. That being said I'm pretty shocked by most people over 30 too.:p

Since Liberty espouses Christian values and any authentic Christian would endorse fulfilling a civic duty - I see no problem with this.

When I was a pastor, I refrained from my political bias in the pulpit. I would always admonish parishioners to vote, however.

Being that we've resurrected a 2008 thread, it wasn't the university that endorsed Trump - it was their president.
