My parents will probably never allow me to forget the time I told my third grade teacher, Mrs. Dempsey of Brooklyn Elementary School in Brooklyn, Michigan: "President Nixon cannot tell a lie!" :D

Most people dont know some of the good side of the coin.

There is no doubt that he had an "imperial" presidancy, and had some Clinton-Type problem with exactly what the truth his, but like ole Bill I think the guy really cared. He acctualy went out at 3am and talked face to face with Vietnam Protestors at one of the monuments (Jefferson i think). He could not fathom why people were so upset with the effort. Really shows how idiological differenses put people apart.

There is one reason GW doesnt use email, and that is Dick Nixon. Never create your own Exhibit A, and people are falling vicitim to that with email all over the place.

That and I don't think he's technologically up to date given that he referred to it as "using the Google". Besides, can you imagine how busy he would be if [email protected] actually went to him?

True, true....but I did read somewhere that the use of email in the Texas statehouse was commonplace when he was governner. If you email it, then its still out there somewhere. As the saying goes...No Pictures, No Video, No Tape..Deny, Deny Deny
