Sure. Fine. The country is at last coming to see what I've said since before the 2000 election. But so what? I don't see much sign of us Democrats coming up with a vision of our own. It just isn't enough to describe the present Administration and Congress as a "culture of corruption" and "incompetent", however true these charges may be. WE HAVE TO OFFER SOMETHING BETTER. And so far? Nada.
Another point... Does anyone with a Brain think you should govern by polls? I mean who knows better the sheep or the herder? There is a bit of a paternal relationship here, and if he is doing what he thinks is best and sticking to his guns that show something positive about him.. THere was a reason President Clinton was sooooo popular. He governed by what the polls said and people liked that. I believe he will go down with Carter as some of the worst international policy in the history of the country... IMHO of course...
