If Special Olympics believed that this were being distributed by Fitzhugh, why would they state that they hope those responsible come forward?

Do you honestly think that John Kerry or George Bush personally mail out the flyers that get sent out? Just because Fitzhugh probably didn't do it, it doesn't mean someone from his camp didn't.--It's horrible (whoever did it).

That's a good point. I know, from personal knowledge, that Fitzhugh's campaign is not responisble for this. I don't know who did it. The scenario you present is plausible. Republicans have no monopoly on scumbag supporters.

WHAT was highly insensivite? The flyer? If that is what you are talking about, it was FAR more than insensitive.

Contrary to what you want to believe, BLD didn't make this story up--he's right when he says that multiple news organizations have picked up the story. If you feel you have to be mad at anyone be mad at them. I'm shocked that they even reported it because it's so juvenile and they lean so far to the "left" but...it'll die down soon enough.
