I'm applying for positions as an adjunct professor with SNHU and have no prior teaching experience. I have a MS in Cybersecurity and they are asking for course expertise for the three classes that I'm requesting to teach online. What do they want entered in that block?

Select the graduate-level classes that you have taken (as a student) that align most closely with the course that they want you to teach. List those course titles and their prefixes.

One more thing: If you have practitioner training and field experience, that should obviously be listed somewhere too.

    Course expertise

Nikkie did you ever find out what to put in there? I am applying to them as well. Do they want a number for length of time, courses I took that are related as stated in a response, trainings that are related, yes/no? lol. You can put many different answers in there.

They are looking for any and all details that will help them assign a class to you. The department head will review the info and then decide. Be aware there could be a delay between the hire and actually getting an assignment depending on demand. SNHU is a class outfit with great training and support. Class enrollments are high but the Blackboard version and other applications are first rate.
