After about a two month long application process and background check, I am finally engaging in GCU's adjunct faculty training! The first week is almost over... and I seem to be the only person in my training group who is not already an employee of GCU. It's pretty interesting, and the forum discussions with the faculty trainers are fantastic. I had some reservations about getting into online teaching, but I really think that I made a great decision.
It is a good program. I've been frustrated with their IT problems as they are "down" a lot more than other schools I've worked for. And this term, they made changes to the curriculum (as in, a new textbook!) without updating the online content (or telling me). All in all, I like them and have recommended them when others have told me of their desire to do graduate school online.
