How are online adjunct interviews conducted?

This may seem like a silly question, but I am wondering how are online adjunct interviews conducted? Are interviews done in person, online, over the phone, or a combination thereof? I am curious about this. Basically, when I finish my degree I hope to blanket the country with my CV in hopes of teaching some classes online, but I am confused as to whether or not I will be limited to my immediate surrounding area and the places that I would ultimately be able to drive to an interview in person.

What has your experience been? Thanks!

I have had questionnaires, phone interviews, and no real interviews (just put in an adjunct training class based on my CV - the training class is where they weed people out). None have been face to face.

Good to know! I figured interviews were conducted along these lines, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for your reply.

Mine have usually been via phone and/or online. Never in person (for an online job).
