    Hi folks!

I know there's plenty of checkers for papers, but is there one for power points? My students had to do a power point presentation on a public policy initiative, and I just know at least one of them (maybe more) are completely plagiarized. I'd like to check it some how. So far I've been trying to copy and paste phrases from it into google, but I haven't had any luck.

The only way that I know about is to use Google. ie, take a fairly uncommon phrase from the ppt, put quotes around it, and add filetype:ppt to your search to restrict the results to powerpoint files.

    ex:
"this is a phrase from the ppt" filetype:ppt

    Also try using filetype:pptx

That's what I've been doing... fairly time consuming, though. I also discovered I can turn the power point into a pdf and upload it to turnitin.com, but yet again, it's time consuming.
