I am seeking for an online adjunct teaching position at a community college. Why undergraduate positions? Because, I am still in the process of completing my Doctorate degree and because the professional experience I have is from being a UNIX programmer not from academic or education.

Secondly, I have a Bachelors of Science in MIS and an MBA in Finance and Economy. I believe that both do have a lot to offer in the teaching career and they have helped me in learning as I move forward with this Doctorate degree.

Now, I am hoping that others will be able to point me in the right direction I am seeking at the current moment.

Thank you in advance for any type of information provided.

Why a community college? I think that limits your options. Where have you applied?

When you say an MBA in Finance and Economy, do you have at least 18 Master's level semester-hours in a particular discipline, e.g., Finance, Economics, preferably course coded as such? Because many MBAs are generalized across a number of business disciplines, they often don't qualify academically to teach even undergrads. (I think that's dumb, but I'm not the decider here.)
