Hello everyone - I have been accepted into Everest Online's four-week asynchronous, unpaid assessment course for Adjunct Online Faculty applicants. I was wondering if someone out there could tell me what to expect/describe your experience, etc. Anything helpful!

I have been applying to teach online at various colleges/universities for more than 18 months and this is the first one to even request a phone interview (no online teaching experience).

    Thanks

Okay I am a first time poster I just registered go easy on me..

To answer your question, just make sure you login once day, answer at least one post, and ask a few questions from the other applicants and board monitor.. the training was not hard. there are some quiz questions but the answers are in the instructors guidelines which you received, learn that and things will be fine.. I have been teaching their since January 2011, when you are assigned your first (real) class they will let you know quickly when you are in the red zone (not doing something correctly) if you don't hear from anyone you are doing fine. Make sure you get the required documents in on-time post training as well.

And Welcome unless you can't pass the quiz, you are 90% likely to be onboarded.
