I don't know if there is any interest, but the Inter-University Seminar on Armed Forces and Society (of which I am a fellow), has just released their call for papers for their Biennal Conference in October 2011. http://www.iusafs.org/2011Call.asp A special note to those "Ph.D" folks...I found my outside reader for my dissertation at this conference, so if you dissertation is somewhat miltary, this is a great place to network.
