I am in no way affiliated with South University, but came across these Subject Matter Expert positions and thought some people on the board would be interested/qualified. The jobs are designing business courses/content for their online MBA program and are part-time/adjunct positions.
Just wanted to pass the info along.

    Can you pride a link?
I checked the SU website and did not find related information.
    Thanks

Here is the link - Education Management Corporation - Career Opportunities
It is under EDMC. I have taught for South for a bit over 4 years and love it.

I have taught for them for about 18 months and have enjoyed it.

I am a South graduate and enjoyed every bit of my program. It is not easy, had great prof's, and great customer service......Maybe I'll get to teach for them one day.

I applied to South and thought that the hiring process had started as they requested more information and said that they'd be contacting me to set up an interview. Didn't hear from them for 6 weeks so I contacted again to inquire. I was told to "hold on" and that they'd be getting back to me. It's probably been another 6 weeks. Oh well.

Well, I did hear back; yesterday! I had requested to teach psychology courses (I do this for 2 other schools and I'm in the interview process for a 3rd) but was only approved for the Gen Ed level course.

With what kind of regularity are courses assigned? I'm in a nice groove with UOP and I'm looking for another opportunity that presents itself quite regularly. What has been your experience?

I have been teaching for them since about mid 2006. I get 3-4 classes per semester (1 or 2 in the A term and 1 or 2 in the B term) so that is 12-16 per year. The work load is very steady.

I consistently get classes each term. Usually only one at a time, but have had two on several occasions. I am currently teaching one, but have two scheduled for the upcoming term. The regularity might depend upon which department you are in. I teach English.

Now that I'm "Phinally Done", I'm looking to pick up an online course or two. Any tips or pointers when applying?
