    Hello Everyone,

I enjoyed reading many insightful comments. I am in a preocess of preparing for a job interview with University of Phoenix. Can someone share info of what kind of interview, 20 min presentation, and group activity in the 3 hours compose of? That's a long interview!

Also, what kind of benefit do you get there...like free education? My brother works for Apollo fulltime and he gets free education. I am interested in getting a PhD in Edu or another master degree and not sure if they offer it. If they, what do I have to do to get it?

In the past, I served as a full time Campus Chair for UoP. In fact, I was in charge of faculty hiring and development. I hope the information I share isn't too out-of-date.

The interview is pretty basic--just confirming what they see in the resume. (I wish it was more, but they do more screening later, so that's not so bad.)

The presentation is just a measure of your ability to speak to a group and to manage visual aids, questions, etc.

The group activity is new to me, but I suspect it is to see how you either (a) work with others--which you'll have to facilitate as an instructor, or (b) you might be asked to facilitate a group exercise. I suspect the latter, where you would facilitate one (say, 20 minutes long) and participate in others' facilitation in a small group.
