    I am set to complete my MBA in April from JSU. I am curious and possibly interested in adjuct teaching and I just wanted to get some advice.

    What is the best way to start? I am not a teacher and I have never taught outside of teaching music/piano to children and adults.

    Should I go the CC route or look into online options?

    Also, what would I be able to teach with a general MBA? Do I need to take additional courses in a specific field in order to be considered?

    Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

    Different schools have different requirements, but nearly all legitimate schools will require at least an RA graduate degree (no problem there for you after you finish). There are often other requirements such as having your graduate degree for a certain length of time before applying, and/or being currently employed in the field you teach.

    After you earn your degree, start looking; checking in here is a good start, but also check these sites at least every other day, if not daily;

    Also, regularly check the websites of schools that are well-known for their online programs (University of Phoenix, Axia College, American Military University, American InterContinental University, etc.), as they often don't advertise their adjunct positions outside their own sites.

    Get ready for rejection; I applied to tons of places before I was accepted at two. Don't take it personally, it's just a matter of the suppy/demand system.
