Hi - I'm relatively new here, just registered but I've lurked a bit in the past. I finally got accepted to Southern New Hampshire's program as an adjunct, and start training on March 1. I'm already an adjunct at UConn and UHartford, and am a full-time mom besides. It was a lengthy application process - I was really surprised, given that I'm already an adjunct at two accredited schools in the same departments.

Anyone have experience teaching at SNHU? What are they like? It seems that the work is going to be largely asynchronous (a must for me, given my schedule). Any tips, hints?

    Thanks!

I do not have any teaching experience with them, but my brother has been attending SNHU for the past 3 years for his bachelor degrees and will graduate in August. From what I can tell from his course syllabus, the courses are rigorous, they are mostly 8 week courses, and SNHU uses blackboard for their course management system. His courses are asynchronous, hes never had to meet online at a certain time for anything. Most of his courses do have the discussion board rule of post by a certain date and time, normally Wednesdays.
