We have successfully launched our higher education concentration of our doctoral program in Wausau, WI. Dr. Lori Weyers, President of NTC is teaching the first Leadership course for our new cohort in Wausau. We will be hosting another open house for people to learn more about our program in January – details to come!

Today, I’m writing to let you know that we are seeking faculty to teach two courses in our program. Candidates who have expertise to teach Finance in Higher Education, and Law, Marketing, and Media Relations are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have a terminal degree. experience teaching students at the graduate level, and practical application and experience within the field of higher education leadership.

ED 810: Finance in Higher Education. Finance in Higher Education is a Summer course that typically runs from the end of May 2010 to mid-July 2010.

ED820: Law, Marketing, and Public Relations in Higher Education. Law, Marketing, and Public Relations in Higher Education meets during the Fall 2010 term.

Both courses are offered in Wausau, WI at North Central Technical College (NTC), and both are offered through a blended curriculum combining face-to-face meetings and online learning through the Blackboard course management system.

If you are interested in learning more about these teaching opportunities, or if you can recommend someone who you think would be qualified to teach one of these courses, please let us know. These positions will be posted on our Edgewood College website, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and Inside Higher Ed within the week, but I wanted to send out something to all of you prior to that official posting.

    Sincerely,
