Ok....Again another poll to satisfy my and hopefully other's curiosity about each other. I always wondered what parts of the world our Degree info members reign from - It tends to bring out varying opinions on education and other stuff, which makes this message board so interesting.
Indiana and I love polls! Always wanted a polling organization to call me but they haven't yet. I looked at your web site. It is very impressive. I worked with the MR/DD population for a number of years. It is very difficult work. I have great admiration for anyone in the field.
Toronto. SARS and Mad Cow Capital of the World. Now if we can only turn the lights back on. My grandparents lived in Rochester, N.Y. and all my cousins live in Staten Island, N.Y. Does that count?
Dr Gina - Australia is a small island off the coast of New Zealand and will soon become part of the NZ Empire. Dr Duck
For 25 years of adult life, I was never polled on anything. The first time I spent at least half an hour answering consumer and political and who knows what questions. I must have done such a good job that I got several more requests over the next year or two, which I declined. So much for randomness.
Currently coming to you live from the education capital of the US, Alabama! No, really, we have schools here. I wouldn't make up that part.
Land of Lincoln....and Carol Mosley Braun (yikes!!!), who when asked recently what her major was, said "I don't remember". She must be a St. Regis alum.
From California, the political and educational laughingstock of the country (we'll see how we fare after the recall election) Tony By the way, Dr. Gina, we know that you are using these polls to practice for your dissertation
Anthony, There is one difference between California and Ontario. When the lights went out in CA, the political stability of the state legislature fell apart - and thus you have a recall election. When the lights went out in Ontario, our provinical legislature fell apart and has yet to come up with a rational economic recovery plan.....and yes the lights are still out (at least mentally).
I'd opt for George Brown or Peter French (the only two intelligent Australians in Australia) for President of my newly suggested South Pacific Empire. Dr Duck
Yes, one of my many Quantative Pratice Research Studies. I wonder how I can make a Qualitative one.....(thinking)
Coming to you live from Boston, Massachusetts. We have a few schools here that some of you might have heard about.
