I knew that some of the degree programs were through Univ. of Phoenix, but I thought the additional courses were through other schools.

I apologize for failing to read this before posting.

Roscoe! I didn't mean anything. I'm just having some fun. Almost all the courses listed are Phoenix's. I have a couple of Yahoo e-mail accounts, so I see their banner ads all day, every day. They blink, they beep ... they're hypnotic .... they are starting to control my very thoughts...

A monopoly? U of P wants to corner the market. But with their high tuition fees just how many prospective students are actually applying?

Heh. UOP reported earlier this year that it now has 187,500 students, of whom about 1/3 are online students. An Eduventures analyst recently estimated that 1 in 8 degree-seeking DL students in USA are enrolled in UOP.

UOP Online is growing rapidly, and the stock has more than doubled over the last 12 months. I wish I had bought some!
