I graduated from TU and I keep getting e-mails from the school about registration for next semester, virus alerts on campus, selling a car from students, etc. I have replied and politely asked to be taken off distribution, but I have been told that there is nothing they can do.

I am very frustrated, and want the spam to stop!!!

    Has anybody else experienced this?

Use the telephone. Call them. Talk with an administrator. If not satisfied, talk with that administrator's boss. If not satisfied, talk with that administrator's boss.

    And so on.

It can't be that bad. I've got two universities that keep "hounding" me for donations. Their director of alumni affairs has my name (and hundreds of others) on their database. I'm always getting requests for donations, continuing education, events and alerts.
The best thing to do is contact their webmaster or administrator with a polite letter or email and ask them to remove your name from their database. If all else fails......send them a virus.
