He was convicted of conspiracy to distribute marijuana. In Canada, we call that entrepreneurship. Marijuana is, after all, British Columbia's most valuable agricultural product. It's not as if anyone ever goes to jail there.
It's too bad he didn't lecture at York University. He would have probably taught entrepreneurship courses at the MBA level. Given the number of "pot heads" I've encountered during my undergraduate days, he probably would have put B.C's marijuana industry out of business.
