Good Morning, Legally, in the US what is the definition of minority applicants. I am seeing this in education adds and wonder if being over 50 applies. Hille

In the context of your question, most institutions and programs usually define “minority” as Black American, Asian American, Hispanic American, or Native American. Over 50 years of age would definitively not qualify, especially in light of the fact that aging baby boomers will soon (if not already) be a majority of the population.

I am, however, always amused at your posts, Hille; you seem to have a penchant for seeking out and exploiting every available loophole. ;)

Save this for the winter months, Hille.

I've heard of such programs but haven't seen them. When taking a course at a nearby community college another student told me she'd be going on to a local, private college at half-tuition for her being over fifty or fifty five. When I later inquired about that program I was told I could pay the freight or tell it walking.
