Off-the-wall degrees? Probably many of those, whether or not displayed.

    Again, an incomplete question.

o Are all your degrees framed and on your wall - NO

o Are any of your degrees framed and on your wall - Yes

o Are any of your degrees not framed and on your wall - Yes (can't find one)

o Are all of your degrees not framed and on your wall - No

What if you're homeless after paying tuition and don't have any walls?

I have degrees, military commission scroll, and a couple professional organization certificates on the walls but I do offer services to the public and it is advertising.

I have seen offices where every weekend seminar certificate is hung.

That is taking is too far and that looks tacky.

I've seen a certificate for completing an eight-hour seminar on Microsoft Word hanging on the wall. :D

I don't have my real degrees on my office wall. But I do have some certificates from short courses (already framed, so what else was I going to do with them). One of them is from the Master Brewers Association of the Americas -- it always gets attention from visitors. I also have a fake degree (from eBay) on my wall.

I've got my BA and MA on my office wall, and eventually plan to set up an "ego niche" with my diplomas, substantially difficult non-degree certificates, and one copy each of my published books. But the novelty of all that will probably wear off when I get a little older.

    Cheers,

Forget the BA, MA, D.Min., CPE, AACC, CMT, etc.............certificates. The only thing gracing the wall of my office is the computer printout from the local Board of Elections office, stating my party affiliation. ;)

Thank you so much for posting the link. I have seen those types of plaques before and I love them. Instead of hanging your real degree on the wall, a beautifully engraved wood or metal plaque can be hung on the wall. They look more beautiful, more professional and the original degree can stay safely in a drawer somewhere. :D

I am going to place an order. :D

I think I like this one over this one. What do you think? :p

o Because I'm so proud of being one of those
o Because I can't remember what I am, from day to day
o Because I'll be prepared when Al Sharpton/ Trent Lott/Jesse Ventura comes to visit
o Because it covers that faded spot where my 'hole in one' certificate from the Pitch 'n Putt used to hang before the robbery
    o other

    Hi Me Again,
Both are nice but I think the metal diploma plaque can tend to look more like a plaque for an award. The cherry wood plaque is laser burned into the wood so it gives more of a distinguished look, although it does cost a little bit more. Adding gold to the schools crest and/or honors symbol also adds extra flair. They do a really good job.

Neither my B.A. piece of paper, nor my M.A. piece of paper are on a wall, shelf, or any such place. Actually they are in a box that I struggle to locate at times.
I did enjoy the comment that stated that one may not have a wall to hang them on because of the tuition paid (and the resulting homlessness). :D
