    Accredited by who you say?
By none other than the Liberia Ministry of Education!

This outfit must have money. They obviously paid the $50,000 fee to receive Liberia Accreditation. Just another one of those "send me your resume and a credit card number" virtual universities.

It also plays the name game, hoping to be confused with the completely legitimate CapitAl University in Ohio, as well as other genuine institutions. Not to belabour the obvious, but if the school is in Dominica, why no accreditation from Dominica? If no classes are required, why is there a photograph intended to create the impression of people walking toward a big, college-looking building past a subway (???) sign labeled "Capitol University"? Also, without anything invidious in the observation, if the school is "in" Dominica, let alone Liberia, why are all the ostensible students in the photograph white? Lebanese resident alien merchants in Monrovia? Who knows?

What are these "schools" going to say when the pictures start showing up of U.S. troops standing in the burned-out remains of the Liberia Ministry of Education?

I love this statement at http://www.capitol-edu.org/pages/100780/index.htm

'The Commonwealth of Dominica where Capitol University is registered as a legitimate graduate school authorized by law to confer academic degrees, is hardly poisoned by the existence of illegal diploma factories that are common practice in the United States and Australia.'

Oh, please, stop, I cannot contain the laughter! God I love the creators of these sites - just pure, instant entertainment!

    Cheers,

I wonder whether it hasn't reached the point where many degree mills, that haven't coughed up the $50,000, are claiming Liberian accreditation. Just riding on the "good" name of St Regis.

To save face, I'm sure the Liberian government will give each U.S. troop an honorary doctorate (.......of course I being sarcastic).

Hey, I saw a book listed on the accreditation page of the website.

" How to get a Genuine college degree in just "5"
    days"

The war must be having an awful effect on how fast the credit cards can clear. 5 days - These poor "students" have to wait 3 more days for their Genuine college degree than normal.

    What a joke!
