I noticed at the bottom that it was Rich's birthday. He has not posted in a while. Has anyone checked his pulse?
After taking a vow not to divulge the secret rites of freemasonry, Rich incorporated certain freemasonry "secrets" in his Union dissertation. When the 32nd and 33rd degree masons were made aware of this, well, ummm, we haven't heard from Rich since. Two of his doctoral committee members and the former president of Union are also missing.
He's been around, but chooses to remain fixed on 2,999 posts for some reason. Maybe, as suggested, he wants to make #3000 as Dr. Rich Douglas. Bruce
where is RJT ? Hey plcscott: Is it me - I haven't seen anything from RJT either. I enjoy and respect his views. Thanks!
Re: where is RJT ? No need to worry about RJT he's just resting up. Like the terminator, "He'll be back." I also respect his efforts, and enjoy hearing his views, stands like a rock doesn't he?
Kf5k- I enjoy reading and respect your point of view as well! It is what makes this forum excellent. You are doing a great job! RJT is amazing! I hope to see him post again. Plcscott is awesome too! Keep up the great work. The First Ammendment lives. Thank you for sharing you viewpoints.
You have GOT to be kidding me! Three degree mill apologists show up, within a few days of each other and you appluad them?! LOL. RJT amazing? Yep those genuine state approved bottom of the barrel credentials sure are. The faulty logic that my High School teacherw would have flunked anyone for is amazing too! Can you say "DOH"! in your best Homer Simpson voice? Well at least posts like this are good for a barrel of laughs.
Everyone has a right to their opinion. I may or may not agree with them, but I respect what they have to say. That is what makes a forum like this so interesting. I do enjoy what they write. I enjoy the response they bring. The laughs are on both sides, Trust me.
I guess if you come to this forum for laughs I understand your point. Personally I come here for information and informed opinions. People who suggest St Regis is a legitimate choice or that K-W is a sound institution are not contributing to that.
No- I stated that I respect the opinion of others, hence I enjoy reading what they have to say. I do not pick and choose what is right for them and you shouldn't either. I also believe it was you that got the first laugh, although I am not sure why. I do not think it is fair to write about what RJT, plcscott,or kf5k feel about KW. I never went there and I am sure you did not either. Are you really qualified to say what is right for them. I don't think so. Thanks
Michael Just to be clear, I have never told anyone here what they should do or what College they should go to. Do I respect all opinions? Most assuredly not! I do not respect opinions of many groups or individuals. Amoung them are anarchists, racists, Lenin style communists, criminals and so on. (I am, of coarse, NOT comparing anyone here to these examples!) I also do not respect opinions of people who can't think clearly or critically. They certainly are important as humans but opinions based on faulty logic have the potential to seriously harm many people. I am not going to praise someone for potentially hurting others. Do I think St Regis is good choice for ANYONE? No! Do I think K-W is in ANY way legitimate? No! Do I think at some point it may be closed for being a Degree Mill? Quite possibly. We have heard first hand reports about K-W from over 10 current or former students. It is clear they are not a University of any kind. I think anyone who attends there does themselves a serious disservice. While I don't intend to come across harshly or hurt the feelings of people who support degree mills or near-degree mills, it is a risk I am willing to take.
Dave, It is your choice to not respect the opinions of other forum members. It is my choice to do so. Neither one of us is right or wrong. I am not sure why you add in drama to a simple idea of respect, but I even respect your feelings as well. While I agree with your feelings on KW, I think I am not qualified to determine what is right for others. I stand corrected , perhaps you are. I have not heard RJT, kf5k, or plcscott say one positive thing about St. Regis, so I am not sure why it is of issue. Additionally, No one mentioned here including you and I support degree mills. Thank you for taking the time to communicate back. Mike
Isn't it about time we have the Russian guy back extrolling the virtues of IUFS. We've just had a dose of St Regis apologists. Rich - you have to come back and keep these people in line. I am out of character doing your job as I do like some unaccredited schools.
I just re-read all the posts on this thread, and didn't see one single positive post concerning St. Regis/ K-W / or degree mills. Who made these statements?
