From th Australian Malt Whiskey Association site:
"David Le Cornu: David is a long-time supporter of the malt whisky scene, having been involved in the set-up of many Adelaide tasting clubs, establishing a whisky tasting championship, and servicing the market for many years with his business Malt Whisky Wholesalers. David has twice won the National Tasting Championship."

Between sips, he finds time to run St. Clements U, and serve as the VP of the World Association of Universities and Colleges.

Which brings up an interesting question.

Is malt liquor a single malt or a blend?

Or even more important, is malt liquor regionally accredited or nationally accredited?

The next time I haul in one of the residentially-challenged connoisseurs, I'll ask them.

    Malt liquor or malt whisky?

Malt liquor is a special kind of heavy beer: Beginner's guide to Malt Liquor

Malt whisky according to The Scotch Malt Whisky Society can be either, but the best are single malt's (usually).

For a more detailed look see: The Whiskey Web.
