Why is cheating when it is tied to sports a big concern to reporters and administrators, when it seems that the average student, they can get away with it and even spray painting it on the walls won't get anybody to care.

I am not surprised by this article, but this was nothing compared to my experience at Arizona State where members of the football and basketball team were facing multiple felony charges. There is quite a bit of looking the other way when it comes to collegiate athletes. As a proud alumnus of the University of Oklahoma, shocked, shocked am I that anyone would allow athletes to cheat academically. We would not have put up with that. Fresno State did not even make the sweet 16. If you are going to cheat, cheat well.
