The Grand Erie District School Board in Ontario has online courses for home school students. I think it is a good idea, it will dispense with a host of discipline problems.

It's good article. However, having just completed a book on nontraditional ways to earn high school diplomas, I can assure the writer that there are more than two dozen online schools for elementary-aged children. Still, it's better than much of what else I've read.

Here in Southern California, we have the Choice 2000 charter school that appears to be doing very well.

Tom, I have enjoyed my copy of Bears' Guide to Education Degrees and have used it to steer some colleagues toward their masters degrees. When will your high school book be available? I am working with a highly innovative charter school (though different than Choice 2000) that will find your book to be a valuable resource for its students.
