New phony of the day: Weston Reserve University

This fine university, whose campus is a rented mailbox in Vancouver, BC, brings together three gentlemen who have a good many connections with comparable wonders: Egbert Phipps (Washington U and others), Denis Muhilly (Irish International U and others), and John Tulip (Mellen U and others).

One wonders what the folks at the legitimate Case Western Reserve University in Ohio may do.

It seems to me that the English have taken over BC - the CEO with an FRSA, and the Provost with an FCA & FCIS!

 

I wonder what the British Columbia government would have to say about this one?

FCA (Fellow Chartered Acadamy???) would be reserved in BC, probably by legislation, for Fellows of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, an honour given to select CAs by their peers.

 

I believe FCA is FELLOW CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT - the highest level of achievement in accountancy. In association with the UK's Institute of Chartered Accountants many Commonwealth (and former Commonwealth countries) operate their own branches and award the same titles.
I'm sure that legitimate titles, such as FCA, can be used world-wide.

Proof that somebody at Weston reads this site: They deleted our girlfriend from their images file. Never fear, you can still catch her on the IAAP website.

 

They have deleted my study buddy! Those nasty people.
Now I have lost the will to study. I will never make it through a real school. Good thing I'm off for the summer.

I hope it's a typo.

 

Since he did his internship and residency in Cleveland, home of Western Reserve, it is more than likely that Weston is a typo.
