    Gregory Walker, the former president of a Scranton-based business school, served four years in the state and federal prison systems for bank fraud, financial-aid fraud, and theft.

    But that didn't stop the Philadelphia School District from hiring him as a teacher in March 2001.

    In fact, the district unwittingly hired him while he was still assigned to a Scranton halfway house, where he was required to check in daily.

    Who knew?

    Good Morning, I had read the article mentioned prior to it being posted. I cannot believe SOMEONE in the system was not aware of this persons situation. Hille
