The Belgium PM, via Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency:

"Brussels, March 30, IRNA -- Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt Sunday toughened his position against the war in Iraq.

"Speaking at a meeting of his liberal VKD party in the city of Antwerp, Verhofstadt denounced the US as 'very dangerous."'

"'America, a power deeply injured, and has become very dangerous, and it thinks to take over the whole Arab world,'" Belgian RTL TV quoted him
saying. [Except that all 9/11 hijackers WERE Arabs--from Saudi and Egypt; as were the USS Cole bombers, and the African Embassy bombers (well--maybe two were sub-saharan Muslims in the last case).]

"He said the US regards the Arab world responsible for all terrorism. 'This is a logic which I do not share,' he said. [It isn't 'logic'--it's fact!--as far as terror on the US! Even before 9/11, we'd lost about 800 lives to Islamic terror over just more tham 20 years...more than any other 'enemy' opponent since the Vietnam War. So does the PM suggest we just stick our heads in the sand lick Ostriches? YUP.]

" An estimated 30,000 Muslims mainly from North African countries live in the port city of Antwerp .

"Verhofstadt added that everything must be undertaken to restore the international legal order [that supports Saddamite's bloody tyranny]."
    ----------------------------------------------

Which reminds me of a local radio-caller, who explained how he'd often travelled to the Far East for business--Japan, Taiwan, Singapore--prior to 9/11.

He explained that all the terrorism in Indonesia and the Phillipines was Muslim sourced. No one in the US would hear much about it, but it has nothing to do with any "outrages" between Israel and the Palestinians. Nonethless, the terror attacks went on. (And now, after 9/11, they still go on. Hence the need to wage our war of self-defense.)

So, mindless people who imagine that US policy is the servant of Jews are way out of touch...just as the Belgian PM is, who believes he must playcate anti-Zionist Arabs in order to keep the peace at home. It's the left in Europe, sacraficing one ethnicity in order to please another.

Some "principles," thems elite Euros got.

I'd call it King Leopold's ghost--no, not the one that brutalized the Congo, the one who was a collaborator with the Nazis.
