Here's why I like degreeinfo: I think people here really do care. Around last May several patiently convinced me that my time could be better spent in GAAP programs than in one accredited by Liverpool. These led me to , in my case, an efficient, respectable and inexpensive program. As I remember that thread there were some jabs at me but not from the regulars. Since then if I had a worry or question were I to post it , helpful advice would follow. Frequently private notes and email further demonstrated this caring. This is true both of matters of academe and of personal, familial issues I sometimes in my weakness reference. It is surprising that one can feel friendship grow even in this mode of never seeing the other faces. I know that I may be too mushy and have a pretty limited social circle, but I've made friends here. Nor are these , at least unilaterally perceived, relationships limited to those who yak away with me about theology. I find good reasons to respect and appreciate the many here who do not express a religious conviction. Degree info gives me a respite from my studies. When I am in the quagmire of gnomic aorists or trinal subsistences or realism vs nominalism and need to come up for air, I get on degree info. Here the air is fresh and the situations are living and the humor is stimulating and the caring is genuine. Thanks,
You know Bill, I was saying that exact same thing the other day . . . If it's not one thing then it's another . . . if it's not those ol' gnomic aorists then it's those ol' trinal subsistences . . . Good luck in your ongoing studies and especially good luck to your son. Jack
Bill, My experience with DegreeInfo has been similar to yours, thanks, in part, to the friendship and caring that you have demonstrated towards me. Tony Piña Faculty, CSU San Bernardino
I really like this forum because I get alot of information from alot of knowledgable folks. They have hlped me complete my degree, almost complete a second and choose a Masters program. I also routinely give this site to others who are interested in furthering their education, along with Lawrie Miller's website.
