...free Iraqi. The media makes it seem like many Americans are dead, but little is reported on the number of Sadaam’s loyal suicide soldiers that have died. An American platoon member was interviewed and he said that yesterday afternoon, they killed about 60 of Sadaam’s loyal suicide soldiers in one firefight. He was surprised at how the suicide soldiers "just kept coming,” even though they were being ”mowed down.” They were essentially running to their death as they ran into battle. The Zulu warriers did they same thing when they fought the British many years ago. They ran into battle to their own death by the thousands, until they were slaughtered into defeat. No army can sustain those kinds of losses for an extended period of time. Consequently, the days of Sadaam’s suicide soldiers are numbered, until there will be too few of them left to make a difference. The Iraqi suicide soldiers have been deceived into believing that it is a noble thing to die for their country. The Americans have no such idealistic belief. In fact during WWII, General Patton admonished his troops that it was stupid to die for your country. He further said, "let the enemy die for his country." Ah, the foibles of war.
As they were running to their deaths, I’m sure the somber last words of their trainer echoed through their heads… “Pay attention! I’m only going to demonstrate this once.”
Let them keep coming. This way the coalition forces can get rid of most of these Iraqi suicide soldiers now and later minimize their own casualties when they attack Bagdad (although I prefer that they nuke the city).
