When scrolling down the online application, one must "accept" the terms of the application process. Under item #1 it states that if one's application is approved, one is under no obligation to "make a purchase" or "pursue" the degree any further. Make a purchase? As in exchanging the $550 Ph.D. fee for a diploma? American College remains the better bargain at $199.
Is the nomenclature "College and University" a sure sign of a mill? Do any legitimate schools refer to themselves in this way?
Not necessarily! Although the phrase is not "College & University," what about "Institute & University?" Union Institute and University www.tui.edu
Interestingly enough there are at least three, all in Georgia. Under the University System of Georgia there are: Clayton College & State University Georgia College & State University and North Georgia College & State University Of course they are "College & STATE University" but why quibble.
Interesting. Having only heard of TC&U and this thread's outfit, I was curious if "C&U" were an automatic red flag. Happy to find out otherwise. Thanks.
I recall several weeks ago starting a thread on this particular site. I found the Certified Life Strategist Program very amusing. There's nothing like having fake credentials from a fake university that has been accredited by a fake accrediting agency. Sort of like: 0 + 0 + 0 = 0 ............yep.......that adds up right!
