Driving to work this morning on a winding and icy road I came upon a car on a corner with its nose stuck in the snowbank.

I stopped and pushed to help him get back up on the road.

On the next corner 1/4 mile further the same car had missed the corner and was stuck in the snowbank. I just drove by without stopping.

Where did my good country neighbor attitude go?

Fess up Dennis. Had it been a cute "her" that couldn't stay on the road your "good country neighbor attitude" would have been more enduring:rolleyes:

    Guilty.

Actually he had his wife? with him. I bet she was ticked. He ran off two corners in a row. Those young pups just don't learn.

I noticed Dennis's post number was 666. Oooohhh, maybe it's a sign. Or not.

    Dennis--

THESE people didn't need your help! They just needed new tires.
Your decision not to help a second time just reinforced the necessary confrontation with reality.
    (Darwin would approve your choice.)
