Good Morning, I did a general search on Southwest Bible College and would like some additional feedback. Will a masters in Christian Education hold up on a resume in the public school sector? Thanks. Hille

I would think a resume, in a job application, that MA might look good. But remember, the district pays according to education and they may not wish to hire you and have to pay extra for your church related expertise as opposed to having an MA in (public) ed or your teaching area. Maybe best to first get hired, then get such an MA. As to salary,my experience in four Calif and Oregon public school districts in 35 years is that with my MA , even in Theology, I was put into a higher scale though my subject always has been English for special ed students. The discipline the masters was in never proved to be a difficulty! Needs to be accredited though.

    Good "luck",

Hello, Is anyone familiar with this school? Are you including it on a resume or has it raised a red flag. The price is great and it looks interesting. Have a good week. Spring is out there somewhere. Hille
