This is interesting (I found this one while searching for DL certificate programs): http://www.suffielduniversity.com/default.asp How does one become a certified life strategies coach by taking courses from an unaccredited bogus university??? No wonder there are so many quacks out there!
I just love the line on their website regarding their location: "Not being a State College we don't have any requirement to show a location."
Re: Re: Become a Certified Life Strategies Coach Unfortunately, Russell is correct. The "coaching" phenomenon has been around for a bunch of years at this point. Mostly it's psychotherapists who are tired of dealing with people who have "real" problems and have found a way to suck some money out of whining boomers (with lots of money) who can't decide which suit to wear without hiring a consultant. There's no required credentials, it's all marketing and cliches. Basically, it fills an ecological niche for those who have neither friends nor family. Jack
