We have noted that Liberians appear to be selling their accreditation for $50,000 down and $20,000 a year. This matter is clearly of interst to CHEA, the Council on Higher Education Accreditation, in Washington.

Consider then this headline on a BBC report, found on Google News:

"CHEA CONFIRMS REBEL ADVANCE ON LIBERIA'S CAPITAL"

Like the CIA fighting unliked politicians in other countries, can it be that CHEA is funding the rebel forces,in hopes of topping the Education Minister and ending this practice. Makes sense to me.

PS: The BBC story went on: "There are reports that rebels in Liberia have taken two key towns north of the capital, Monrovia. Defence Minister Daniel Chea confirmed rebels recaptured the iron-ore rich town of Bopolu on Monday , situated approximately 100 kilometres north-west of the capital. Panic has gripped Monrovia, following news of the advances."

    Oh.

Just like my bologna, it turns out that CHEA has a first name too. I wonder if a jingle is far behind?
