According to this advertisement in today's edition of USA Today: The Lowest Price Accredited University Degrees! www.universitydegree.com NIU hasn't had a tuition increase in at least two years.
I am curious as to the tuition cost between the DBA and JD, both of which are professional doctorates. Why would the DBA cost $45 more than the JD? Maybe the DBA textbooks are more expensive. Or, maybe NIU recognizes that once the JD begins to practice law the opportunity for increased revenue is possible--thus, allowing one to "earn back" the $45.
No, I bet it's because the DBA folks get the special gold seal on their diplomas or, maybe you pay by the letter...DBA=3, JD=2 so you pay more for the DBA Jack
Couldn't be the number of letters, because the MA=2, MS=2 and MBA=3 are all $295. But the special gold seal on the diploma, now that is indeed worth $45.
