For anyone interested, the following site discusses many urban legends (in science, movies, history, politics, etc). It was very interesting and enlightening.

Unfortunately, it seems that no one I know checks this site before forwarding Chicken-Little warnings about killer viruses, taxes on e-mail, etc.

    North,

Is this an ACCS research site? ;)

Yep, it's where we go to debunk the urban legend that Arminianism has any validity. ;)

{PS. Because someone once got offended by this sort of humour I need to add that this is a joke. ACCS does not specifically adhere to either theoretical approach}.

You can also try www.hoaxbusters.com when you get the "don't do such and such" or "warn everyone you know..." or "Did you hear that xxx was doing yyy to zzz and should be stoped"
