Got this from the daily news email of The New York Times: "Community colleges are recasting themselves as wise first choices for the serious student looking to side step crushing debt." http://www.nytimes.com/2002/12/15/education/15COLL.html?todaysheadlines You may have to register to view the story. But it's free and shouldn't be too much of a bother. Regards, Roscoe
Hello, In our area NJIT and Burlington County College share a campus so the savings are incredible for local students. BCC has articulating agreements with many colleges which increases the appeal. Have a great Sunday. Hille
A friend of mine did his first two years at Austin Community College, and finished up at UT Austin. He saved a lot of money (even though his father is a full professor at UT), and in the end he still had a BSEE from UT, which is a top engineering school. I think that it's a great route for anyone to take, especially with a community college that has an articulation agreement that provides a clear path into a good 4-year program.
Hello, I am wondering if someone could add to this post listing the least expensive community colleges that offer distance learning. Tuitions as of 1/1/03 would be great. Hille
