If you want some one to do something, then tell him not to do it.

Thus far, 75% of the people have clicked on that link, even after I told them not to. [IMG]

    For shame!!! [IMG]

Well I didn't vote because I didn't click on it because I thought it might be stupid joke that messes up your computer. Then like an idiot I clicked on it after the second temptation when the lady(?) asked where this thread disappeared to. It is kind of funny but it appears that one must reboot their computer after clicking on it which ruined the humor as far as I'm concerned.

If a 75 percentile of those polled is true with all suggestions, perhaps we need to change the modus operandi here at DegreeInfo.

What if 75% of those reached by DegreeInfo are actually obtaining degree mill credentials? We warn them, we tell them not to, but they click on that degree mill URL anyway. Oops, out pops a Trinity C&U Ph.D. ;)

Same here. I avoided it the first time, but the second go around got me...
I also agree about the humor. It was funny until I had 37 or so little boxes jumping around my screen and had to actually manually turn the power off of my computer. It wasn't quite as funny then...

I gave it the three finger salute and closed internet explorer. I suppose I will have to vote now. :)

My PC is getting long in the tooth and I'm looking for just about any excuse to dump it and get a new one. So I clicked on the link hoping it would completely trash my computer..........but noooooo.

All of you guys posts are excellent. Quite humorous to read. :D

To stop the boxes from appearing, all you have to do is hit "control - alternate - delete," but you have to hit it as soon as the box appears. If you wait more than 10 or 15 seconds to hit it, then it's too late becaue too many boxes appear and it might crash your computer. But it won't damage your computer.

Who could you possibly send that link to? ;)
