  1. Ansal Plaza 'eyewitness' is quack.

    Snippet:
    • ... When Mid Day contacted Krishna last evening, the “doctor’s” English was incoherent. The nameplate outside his residence in Greater Kailash declares him to be a Master of Science (Zoology), DF-Hom (London), AFAZ, MBBT (Homeo), DLCS, MRSH (London). Not only is the basic MBBS missing from the list, but some of the degrees mentioned are not medical, or any other kind of degrees for that matter.

Krishna’s website www.cancer-healer.com says he can cure all types of cancer using a new therapy he has developed and he charges a fixed fee of $300 for it. ...

I prefer Depilitoried Krishnas to the Hari variety.

  5. According to the web site, it appears to be derived from Semecarpus somniferum. Semecarpus is a genus of cashew nuts. It would appear from the species name that S. somniferum has some kind of sleep-inducing action. (Incidentally, Papaver somniferum is the opium poppy.)

You will still have cancer, but you won't care.

Now I know why my wife loves cashew nuts. Sleep-inducing opium-like qualities. ;)
