Sveiks! So the Israel branch of the University of Latvia wasn't riga-rous enough, apparently.

    New name now...

A number of the so-called 'new universities in the UK have, over the past few years, got themselves into a mess in this way for all sorts of reasons. The University of Lincolnshire and Humberside has now completely revamped itself and the institution's name has changed to the University of Lincoln. It has a brand new modern campus in city of Lincoln in the north of England.

    Not a degree mill

Israel is not the only place they have withdrawn from. Last year they withdrew from Sri Lanka (reasons not clear) and the local college asked EBS to take over their MBA programme. This was not concluded (reasons to me unclear) but probably due to our fees, that we examined all students' examination papers in Edinburgh and the focus of our examination only regime.

University of Lincoln is not a degree mill; it is a fully fledged British university, albeit new, some of whose staff got beyond themselves and have now been reigned in.
