Alicia "Chucky" Hansen, candidate for governor, apparently listed several degrees from Regis University on her official biography.

This year (for the first time) the local paper, Virgin Islands Daily News, is checking on claims. Turns out her degrees are apparently from "St. Regis" (the unaccredited and dreadful place).

There should be a story in the next few days.

    An Anonymous DegreeInfo Informant?

OK, guys! Which DegreeInfo regular made the anonymous phone call to the Virgin Islands Daily News?

It's not everywhere where it's Chucky vs. Ducks in the governor's race.

  5. The Virgin Islands are truly different. If you have a sound card, visit Donald "Ducks" Cole's musical campaign site: Senator Donald "Ducks" Cole

Donald 'Ducks' for Senate. The site is a delight.

As I recovered consciousness after a great fall in the Scottish highlands in 1992, the first thing I thought I heard was a voice saying, "What a shame. Donald Duck is on holiday, you know."

Turned out the only doctor for miles around was, indeed. Dr. Donald Duck. (The newspapers discover him every few years and do an article. He always points out that he had the name 10 years before Disney. But then he named his son Donald, too.)

Well, it sure beats Walter Mondale singing "Who Stole the Lefse?"

    Here's my favorite part.

"When Hansen was asked about the discrepancy earlier this week, she said she was "offended" that The Daily News would check her claims and refused to say where the college from which she received degrees is based."

How dare the newspaper expose her fraud! She's trying to win an election and the truth keeps messing up her plans.
